Smithville resident Ed Judkins, 83, died June 25 at Alive Hospice Center in Nashville.A retired construction worker, he was the son of the late Hershal and Martha Judkins, and was a member of Allens Chapel Methodist Church. He was also preceded in death by two wives Louise Bandy Judkins and Bea Robinson Judkins, and two brothers Frank and Jess Judkins.He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law JoAnn and David Roberts of McMinnville, and Marilyn and John Barber of Smithville, two grandchildren Stevie and Angela Green, and Rachel Goodwin, all of McMinnville, four step-grandchildren Megan Roberts of Murfreesboro, Matthew Roberts of Cookeville, and Eric and Johnny Barber of Smithville, seven great-grandchildren Mandy and Stephanie Green of McMinnville, Mercedes, Paige, Olivia, Kelsey and Jayden Barber, all of Smithville, four sisters Ruth Cantrell and Willie Ferrell of Smithville, and Ophalene Knowles and Nettie and John Mareno, all of McMinnville, and one brother A.Z. Judkins of Smithville.Funeral service is Thursday at 11 a.m. at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville. Bro.
