Earl Wayne Curtis, 64

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Earl Wayne Curtis, 64, was born Nov. 1, 1957 and died Feb. 2 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following a sudden illness.           

A farmer, he was the son of the late Charles Earl and Annie Ellen Prater Curtis. He was married to Millicent LaRue. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sister, Sue Ellen Curtis.

Mr. Curtis is survived by son and daughter-in-law Abee Wayne and Tiffany Curtis of McMinnville, two grandchildren Lakelynn and Karsyn Curtis, brother and sister-in-law Lee and Gail Curtis of McMinnville, sisters and brothers-in-law Patti and Russell Barnes, Vicki and Roger Grieves, and Lisa and Dexter Wells, all of McMinnville, special aunt Eva Sue Bouldin of McMinnville, uncle William and Linda Prater of McMinnville, aunt, Kathy and Kelly Hodges of Atlanta, Ga., special friend, Lois Saladine of McMinnville, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Bascom Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at High Funeral Home. No visitation will be held at High’s on Saturday. Friends and family are to meet at the cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
