Earl L. “Bud” Hillis, 75, of McMinnville died Monday, May 29 at his residence.
Earl was born on Tuesday, March 3, 1942 in McMinnville and was the son of the late Coy Hillis and the late Hazel (Lawrence) Hillis.
Earl was a member of Shellsford Baptist Church in McMinnville. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1963. He was a retired truck driver for USA Truck and Manager of Otasco 18 years previous to driving.
 Surviving are sons Christopher Hillis and wife Andrea of McMinnville, Randall “Cotton” Hillis of McMinnville, and daughter Sandra Hillis West of Rock Island; two grandsons, Jason and Sean Finger of McMinnville and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Coy and Hazel (Lawrence) Hillis.
Graveside service will be at Shellsford Cemetery on Saturday, June 10, at 5 p.m. with Trinidad Ramirez officiating. Burial will follow at Shellsford Cemetery. Mr. Hillis was cremated as his request. Earl’s love for animals was unique. He will be greatly missed by all our fur babies and rescues. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Warren County, P.O.
