Dorothy Lee Simmons, 74, of Spencer died unexpectedly Monday, July 2 at River Park Hospital, McMinnville.She was born in McMinnville July 3, 1937, the daughter of the late Letha Mae (Basham) and John Muncey. She was a member of Pleasant Hill New Life Baptist Church and was a nursery worker. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia A., and husband Ernie Fults of McMinnville; Linda McCormick of McMinnville; Cathy Cantrell of Plainville, Ohio; four sons Thomas E. Campbell, of McMinnville, David W., and wife Carol Campbell of Spencer, Ernie Simmons of McMinnville, Tommy Simmons,of Arizona; special sister-in-laws, Tinker Muncey of McMinnville, Ruth Muncey Robinette of Alexander, La.; special son-in-law, Paul Sowell of McMinnville; sister Dene Maffahany of McMinnville; brother, Junior Muncey of McMinnville.
