Dorothy L. Eaton Swann, 90

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Dorothy L. Eaton Swann, 90, was born July 18, 1924 and died Oct. 14 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness.
A retired employee from Carrier Corporation and a member of Viola Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Roy and Ruby Justice Eaton. She was married to William Blair Swann, who preceded her in death in October 1981. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and James Eaton; sister, Mary Frances Hobbs; son, Russell Lawrence; and grandson, Kevin Lawrence.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Monte and Cindy Swann of Viola; stepson, Charles Swann and wife Dianne of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Mendi Davis of Viola, Travis Swann and wife Kristen of Murfreesboro and Warren Swann of Murfreesboro; stepgrandson, Stacy Swann of Sparta; two great-grandchildren, Will Davis and Eli Davis; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sarah Kell of McMinnville and Shirley and Jerry Bost of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Eloise Eaton; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Kalyn Robinson.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at High’s Chapel with family officiating. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
