Dorothy Fitts, 93, of McMinnville died Wednesday, Aug. 23, at her home.Dorothy was born Monday, Sept. 10, 1923 in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of the late Cletus Rocheleau and Emma Schultz Rocheleau.Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Young, Sharon Tuharsky and husband, John, two sons, Kenneth Fitts and Alan W. Fitts Sr.; grandchildren, Sheryl Mayberry, Scott Mayberry, Tina Wojciechowsky, Alan Fitts Jr., Mark Young, and John Young; sister, June Davis; sister-in-law, Josephine Fitts; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Walker Fitts Sr., and son, Roy Walker Fitts Jr.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27 at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Jerry Hennessee officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Smartt. The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, and again Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 415 North Chancery Street in McMinnville.
