McMinnville resident and Warren County native Donnie Ray Crowe, 71, was born Jan. 26, 1950 and died Sept. 17 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following a brief illness.             

A custodian with the Warren County School System and a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Ernest and Inis King Crowe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Marvin Crowe, Lanis Crowe, John Crowe, Gene Crowe, James Crowe, Malartis Phillips, and Bob Pack, and sisters Helen Bean, Katherine Maxwell, and Brenda Crowe.

Mr. Crowe is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Rochelle and Rodney Mullins of McMinnville, two grandchildren Jasmine Mullins and Hollie Mullins, three brothers and sisters-in-law Carl and Joyce Crowe, Ronnie Crowe, and Phillip and Sharon Crowe, all of McMinnville, several nieces and nephews, and special friends Irene DeBerry and Bobbie Chisam also survive.

It was Mr. Crowe’s wishes to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 111 River Drive, McMinnville with Greg Sweeton officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
