McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native Donna Faye Mills Bumbalough, 69, passed from this life Wednesday, June 15, at home after an extended illness.
Donna was born on Sept. 26, 1952 to the late John Sam and Agnes Aline Crain Mills. She was of the Free Will Baptist faith and retired from Oster. Donna was a 1970 graduate of Van Buren County High School, loved watching the University of Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball, UT football and loved to quilt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Linda Tobbitt, and sister-in-law Pat Mills.
Donna is survived by her loving family, husband Robert Lynn Bumbalough of McMinnville, son Danny (Shawna) Lee of Spencer, daughter Tonya D. Mills (Titus Sullivan) of Spencer, stepdaughter Tonya K. (Bill) McCulley of Sparta, brother Sammy Mills of Spencer, grandchildren Bobby, Amber, Kellsea, Jordan, Brooke, Kenlyn and Mattie, eight great-grandchildren and special thanks to Juwana Green. Many nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday June 17, at 1 p.m. at the Layne Funeral Home Chapel in Spencer with Bro. Wayne Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Spencer Town Cemetery.
