McMinnville resident and Warren County native Donald Ross Cox Sr., 75, was born March 7, 1943 and died April 4 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness. The owner of Value Auto Sales since 1967 and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late John R. and Maggie Basham Cox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd, Joe and Allen Cox; and two sisters, Betty Myers and Mary Bunch.He is survived by son Donald R. Cox Jr. of McMinnville; daughter Tina Renee Jaco of McMinnville; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; nine brothers and sisters, Seabert Cox, Paul Cox, Edna Hayes, Lucille Bunch, Wayne Cox, Charlotte Fitts, Barbara Jane George and Rickey Cox, all of McMinnville, and Lena Sue Perryman of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
