Mr. Donald Houston Hitchcock, 67, of McMinnville was born April 17, 1951 in McMinnville and died Thursday, July 19, at his residence. 

He was retired from Averitt Express, was an avid fisherman, loved his family and was dearly devoted to them. Mr. Hitchcock was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his parents Houston Horace and Ivena Baker Hitchcock, sister Karen Sue Moore, father-in-law Robert G. Robinson Sr. and nephew Matthew Robinson.

Survivors include his wife Robbie Elaine Robinson Hitchcock, son Robert Donald (Traci) Hitchcock, sisters Nancy (Stan) Witty and Jane (John) Greco, brother Lonnie (Debbie) Hitchcock, mother-in-law Betty Jo Jordan, brother-in-law Graham Moore, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bobby and Paulette Robinson, and grandchild Alexis Pigott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Ricky Lee will officiate. Interment will follow at Centertown Cemetery. The Hitchcock family will receive friends Sunday from 12 p.m. noon until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
