Donald Eugene Freeze, 73, a Morrison resident and Warren County native, was born March 23, 1948 and died Sept. 28 at Tri-Star Skyline Medical Center in Nashville following a sudden illness.

He was a retired maintenance worker for Carrier Corporation, a United States Army veteran of Vietnam, and the son of the late Ashley Adam and Jannie Louise Crouch Freeze Sr.

Mr. Freeze is survived by wife, Cherry Freeze of Morrison, son James “Bubba” (Michelle) Freeze of Morrison, daughter, Donna (Brad) Gross of McMinnville, brother Ashley Adam (Carolyn) Freeze Jr. of Morrison, three grandchildren, and two sisters, Melba (Clifton) Henley of Decherd, and Judy (Jerry) Taylor of Woodbury.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at High’s Chapel with Virgil Barton officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee County. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
