Debra Banks Smith, 60

McMinnville resident and Detroit, Mich., native Debra Banks Smith, 60, was born Jan. 19, 1954 and died suddenly Nov. 30 at her residence in Daytona Beach Shores, Fla.
A homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Orange Beach, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Thurston and Nellie Pearl Bush Banks.
She was married to Bernard Ken Smith of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Natalie and Matthew Roberts of McMinnville, and Ashley and Gary Cunningham of Ormond Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Madison Grace Jones and Aubree Layne Cunningham; brother, Rondal T. Banks of Kentucky; sister-in-law, Barbara Alexander of McMinnville; and also survived by her husband’s children, Bernard Trey Smith and Debbie Johnson.
Mrs. Smith was a devoted wife, mother, and nana to her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, and was a loving caregiver to all.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in High’s Chapel with Anthony Campbell officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
