David Lee Watts, 75, of McMinnville died Friday morning at his residence.
He was a retired bulldozer operator with Dunlap Dozer Service and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pleas and Lucy Watts; son, Randy Watts; brothers, Peck, Oris and Dewey Watts and sister, Mandy Watts.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Connie Watts of McMinnville; sons, David Scott Watts of McMinnville, Danny (Jennifer) Watts of Liberty, Donnie Watts of Manchester; daughters, Angie (John) Womack, Loretta (Chris) Henry, all of McMinnville and Francis (Ray) Bell of Nashville, 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Bud (Vicky) Watts of Woodbury, Jr. (Rosie) Watts of Auburntown and John (Alicha) Watts of Texas; sisters, Sue Phann of Kentucky, Linda Hamlett of Smithville, Ruth Ashford of Watertown and Ann of Statesville, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held Sept. 21 from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Mike Steakley officiated and burial followed at Webb Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations please be made to the funeral home to help with burial expenses.
