Nashville resident and Madison County, Ala., native Cora Evelyn Webster Crouch, 79, died Oct. 28 at Alive Hospice in Nashville after an extended illness.A healthcare nurse technician and a member of Oakland Free Will Baptist Church in Joelton, she was the daughter of the late Alvie Jessie and Annie Lee Womack Webster. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband, Homer Howard Crouch; sisters, Elizabeth Webster, Nettie Atchley and Louise Brown; brothers, Buford Webster, Bennard Webster and Wayne Medley.She is survived by sons, Danny Howard Crouch and Roger Dale Crouch of Nashville; daughter and son-in-law, Marian and Carl Fortner of Nashville; grandchildren and spouses, Angela and John Crutcher of LaVergne, Jason and Chasity Crouch of Smyrna, and Jennifer Fortner of Nashville; great-grandchildren, Taylor Crutcher of LaVergne and Kobe Crouch of Smyrna; sisters, Hazel Brewer of Big Springs, Texas, and Linda Sue Keyworth of Houston; brothers and sister-in-law, Ellie and Lorraine Webster of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Raymond Webster of Detroit, J.W. and Nancy Medley of Georgia, and Bobby Medley of Knoxville. and devoted sister-in-law, Pauline Webster of McMinnville.Services will be held at noon Monday at High’s Chapel with Drew Crouch officiating.
