Spencer resident and Van Buren County native Connie Louise Cunningham, 58, was born Feb. 22, 1953 and died June 25 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.A child care provider and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Clata Ruth King of Spencer and the late George Willard King. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Vee Cunningham; and her grandparents. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, David and Wanda King of Dunlap, and Jim King of Spencer; two sisters, Brenda and Bob Holland of McMinnville, and Linda and Jim Hixson of Dunlap; three nephews, David Allen King and J.D. Hixson, both of Dunlap, and Robert Walling of Spencer; two nieces, Miranda Walling of Spencer and Starla Hixson of Dunlap; four great-nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Funeral service was held Tuesday in High’s Chapel with Billy Reed officiating.
