Connie June Luna Jones, 72, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, died June 30 in NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following an extended illness.
She was a homemaker, member of the Baptist Church and daughter of the late Arrie and Willie Ione Stewart Luna. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Arrie Phillips Luna and grandchild Teresa Robertson.
Mrs. Jones was married June 14, 1980 to Clinton Ray Jones, who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, James Ray Jones and fiancée Priscilla Malone and Carl Southard and wife Katrina, all of McMinnville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Woody and Shirley Luna of Gatlinburg; and nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are to meet at North Hills Church of God of Prophecy on Sunday for a 1 p.m. funeral service with Bryan Jones, Michael Harris and Nathan Jones to officiate. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday at High’s. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boyd Christian School.
