Mr. Clyde Alley Pennington Jr., 66, of Manchester died Sunday, June 30, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born Jan. 31, 1947 in Warren County, was an architectural designer/ contractor, and a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Pennington was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Alley Pennington Sr., and his brother Joe Mack Pennington.
Survivors include his wife Glenda Wyatt Pennington of Manchester, mother Josephine Pennington of McMinnville, daughters Alyssa Pennington of Austin, Texas, and Teresa (son-in-law, Bob) Croyle of Manchester, sons Troy (daughter-in-law, Angie) Pennington of Austin, Texas, and Gregg Pennington of Nashville, brother WendellĀ Pennington of Cookeville, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is 5 p.m. Wednesday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. The Pennington family will receive friends Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. in the chapel of McMinnville Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.mcminnvillefuneralhome.com.
