Clifford L. McCormick, 92, a Coalmont resident and White County native, died Oct. 17 in Cumberland House Hospice in Crossville following a brief illness. He was a retired employee of the U.S. Corps of Engineers, a member of Morrison Church of Christ, and son of the late Bransford and Mary Elizabeth Holder McCormick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wives, Evelyn Kilgore McCormick and Mary Alice Causey McCormick; son, Nelson McCormick; two sisters, Johnnie Elliott and Adalene Cole and three brothers, James, Leon and Clyde McCormick.
