Clessie Mae Walker Hillis, 92, of McMinnville died Monday, Sept. 26 at Briarcliff Health Care Center in Oak Ridge.Born on Feb. 21, 1919 in DeKalb County, she was a retired seamstress from McMinnville Garment Factory.Mrs. Hillis is preceded in death by parents Robert L. and Debbie France Walker; husband Ellie L. Hillis; brothers Cecil Walker, Cebern Walker, Clata Walker; and sister, Dorothy Walker Gillette.Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Donald L. and Phyllis P. Hillis of Oak Ridge; grandchildren Ryan Hillis and Ashley Hillis Strutton; and great-grandson Aaron Strutton. Many other family members and friends also survive.Interment will be at Mt.
