Clark R. McGee, 74, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born May 22, 1943 and died Aug. 6 in Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.
He was a retired foreman with Century Electric, member of the Baptist Church and son of the late William Jennings Bryan McGee and Gladys Rhea McGee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dot Bogle and Barbara Denton; brother Bill McGee; and father-in-law Boyd Haston.
Mr. McGee was married May 25, 1963 to Marilyn Haston McGee, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children and spouses, Jeff and Linda McGee of McMinnville, Suzette and Jerry York of Morrison, and Chad and Rachel McGee of McMinnville; eight grandchildren, Brandon McGee and wife Brittany of McMinnville, Emily McGee of Madison, Daniel McGee and wife Amy and Zach York, all of Morrison, and Jeffery Grissom and Lucy, Abigail and Caroline McGee, all of McMinnville; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Grissom and Bryce McGee; mother-in-law, Mary Ruth Haston of McMinnville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Sharon Haston of Lewisberry, Pa., and Ron and Renee Haston of Chattanooga; special niece, Cindy Morton and husband Randy of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10 at High’s Chapel with Bro. Kevin Burden to officiate. Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and 12 p.m. Thursday until the time of service at High’s.
