Murfreesboro resident and Warren County native Clara May Freeman, 83, was born Nov. 23, 1927 and died April 8 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro following an extended illness.A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late John and Maggie Cunningham Rogers. She was married to Charles Freeman, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Freeman and two brothers, Everett Rogers and James Rogers.She is survived by two children, James Freeman of Knoxville, and Dianna Hartman and husband Joseph of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Edith Cummings of McMinnville, and several nieces and nephews.A private graveside service will be held.
