C.L. Whiteaker, 75

McMinnville resident and Warren County native C.L. Whiteaker, 75, was born March 31, 1936 and died June 27 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville following a four-week illness.A home builder and member of Pioneer Community Church, he was the son of the late Columbus Jewell and Minnie Bethlee Moffitt Whiteaker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Dean and Randel Whiteaker.He was married Sept. 19, 1980 to Jo Porter Whiteaker of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children and their spouses, Michael and Cindy Whiteaker, Sandra Judkins, Cheryl and “Bigun” Morgan, Bo and Christina Harrell, and Patrick and Helen Harrell, all of McMinnville, and James and Donna Harrell, and Larry Harrell, all of Morrison; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Kaye Whiteaker of McMinnville and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Jerelene and Jerry Prince of LaVergne, and Kathy and Don Wylie and Carolyn Doig, all of Cartersville, Ga.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pioneer Community Church with Gary Few officiating.
