Mr. Chris H. Kopaczynski, 80, of Rock Island died Saturday, Jan. 8, at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. 

He was born Sept. 19, 1941, in Leipzig, Germany, was a retired route manager for Schwans Frozen Foods, and was a member of Gath Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents Henry and Angela Malee Kopaczynski, and brother Richard Kopaczynski.

Survivors include a brother George Kopaczynski, special friends and caregivers Barbara and Darrell Russell, nieces Eva Ross and Ursula (Scott) Penner, a great-niece and a great-nephew.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Gath Baptist Church. Bro. Rick Stewart will officiate. Interment will follow at Webb Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Gath Baptist Church from 12 to 1 p.m. on Wednesday. There will be no visitation at McMinnville Funeral Home.
