Charles E. “Chuck” Neely, 77, of Martinez, Ga., died Sunday, Nov. 13. The husband of the late Sara LaFavor Neely, he served 25 years in the U.S. Army as a first sergeant E-8. He received the Meritorious Service Medal, the Bronze Star, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, two Overseas Bars, the National Defense Service Medal and the Presidential Unit Citation.
