Catherine Clendenon, 86, a McMinnville resident and Madison, Ala., native was born April 29, 1931 and died Aug. 29 at her residence following an extended illness.She was a homemaker, member of the Methodist Church and daughter of the late John and Beulah Mae Pearson Phillips. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Trenton Duncan in 1980; second husband, James P. Clendenon in 1989; and two sons, Larry Duncan on March 7, 1994 and Steven Duncan in 1986.Mrs. Clendenon is survived by two grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and special friend, Paulette Wheeler of McMinnville. Graveside services and interment were held at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
