Carolina Martin Thomas, 80, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born May 12, 1940 and passed July 29 at Raintree Manor in McMinnville following an extended illness.

She was a retired housekeeper, a factory line operator, a longtime member of East End Drive Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late Elmer and Marjorie Savage Martin.

Mrs. Thomas was married to Harold Thomas of McMinnville, who preceded her in death in 2017. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter Christy Thomas, brothers Elmer Jr. Martin, Clarence Martin and Charles Martin, and sister Marjorie Ann Martin.

She leaves to honor her memory, five children and spouses, Howard Thomas of McMinnville, Steve (Tia) Thomas of Temple, Texas, William (Bobbie) Thomas of Temple, Texas, Terri Thomas, and Mildred (Donny) Wooten, 10 grandchildren Tony, Turran, Todd, Brandy, Tanea, Keenan, JaQuay, DeAndre, Markee, and Akosha, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters Betty Jo Martin and Jacqueline Cabell, brothers Greg (Rita) Martin, and Danny (Terri) Martin, sisters-in-law Veleria Martin, Barbara Martin, Henrietta Lusk, Evie Northcutt, and Birda Mae Thomas, and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County with Eugene Wilkerson officiating. No visitation will be held at High’s. Online condolences may be made at
