Carmelita Bello, 34, passed away Feb. 17 in Nashville surrounded by her sister Ashley Paison. She was a beloved Rock Island resident.

She is the daughter of Kimberly Bello Mayes and Richard Bello and treasured great granddaughter of the late Jeweline McGowan. She leaves behind her precious “Porkchop” and many family and friends. She was a diligent worker with a heart for animals.

A celebration of life will be set in Rock Island for summer 2022.
