Mrs. Carlin Gunter Pence, 82, of McMinnville died Saturday, July 21, at her residence.

She was born July 2, 1936, in Spring City, was the co-owner of Pence Roofing Company along with her husband Barry and was preceded in death by parents Austin and Viola Miles Gunter, husband Barry Pence, sisters Nyoka Gunter, and brothers Roy, Clyde, and Tommy Gunter.

Survivors include her daughters Carol Kennedy, Peggy Wilson, and Donna (James) Zimmores, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren, and sisters Gladys Graham and Bonnie Cantrell.
