Carl Mason Bouldin, 79

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Carl Mason Bouldin, 79, was born Dec. 19, 1939 and passed away Oct. 2 at his residence following an extended illness.

A pastor and self-employed nurseryman, a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of Spirit of Life and Hope of McMinnville, he was the son of the late Jack and Louise Freeman Bouldin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Lucy Josephine Turner Bouldin, daughter Kathy Laws, grandson David Barrett, and brother David Bouldin.

Mr. Bouldin is survived by children, Randy (Penny) Bouldin of Liberty, Tracy (Kimberly) Bouldin of Bloomington Springs, Carla (Ricky) Cope of Irving College, Lisa Kirby of Citrus Springs, Fla., and Terry (Cindy) Bouldin of Rock Island, son-in-law Richard Laws of Warren County, 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, brothers Tony Bouldin and Roy Bouldin, both of McMinnville, and Gary Bouldin of Cookeville, sisters Jackie Perry, Judy Seals, and Barbara Chisam, all of McMinnville.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at High’s Chapel with Danny Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Shellsford Cemetery with full military honors administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High’s. Online condolences can be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
