Brownie William Turner, 64, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born April 10, 1952 and died March 31 at his residence following a lingering illness.He was a retired welder with Morrison Tool and Fab, a member of Irving College Baptist Church and son of the late Grady Levoy “Pete” and Margie Frances Brown Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two nephews, Chase Morton and Mark Turner.Mr. Turner is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Chad William and Lisha Turner and Joshua and Maranda Moore, all of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Tasha Turner and boyfriend Brandon Petrovic and Madison and Liam Moore; great-grandchildren, Madisyn Mason and Jayxon Petrovic; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Eva Lois and Gary Brady and Nan and Marty Waldron, all of McMinnville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Grady and Shirley Turner and Hugh and Joan Turner, all of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews; special niece and caregiver, Cynthia Bratcher; and special friend, Carol Sims of McMinnville.Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 2, in High’s Chapel with Jackie Matheny, Jon Ballard and John Kent to officiate. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery.
