Boyd Fults, 71, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 12. He was born in Whitwell on July 30, 1945 to Wesley and Parthenia McHone Fults, who preceded him in death along with his brother, Paul Fults.He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda VanHoosier Fults; daughter Vicky Fults; son Dewayne (Kristi) Fults; grandchildren Steven (Jennifer) Fults, Cameron Layne, Katie Fults and Bethany Fults and fiancée Justin Meeks; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Zella (Horace Ray) Slatton, Linda Jones and Barbara King; brothers Melvin (Faye), Hoyt (Amy) and David (Charlotte) Fults; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services were held Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with minister Mack Hampton officiating with burial to follow at Palmer Cemetery.Layne Funeral Home of Palmer was in charge of arrangements.
