Bobby Rigsby, 74, a McMinnville resident and Rock Island native, died April 17 at his residence following a sudden illness.He was a retired employee of Carrier, a member of Highland Church of Christ and son of the late Elbert and Willie Pauline Webster Hutchins Rigsby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Paul and Charles Rigsby; sisters, Wilma Stevens and Linda Rigsby; and halfbrother, Ray Fisher.He was married Aug. 30, 1958 to Wanda Roller Rigsby, who survives. He is also survived by son, Darrell (Laurie) Rigsby, and daughter Lisa Rigsby of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Walker, Ryan Bess and Amy (Steven) Tittsworth, all of McMinnville; two great-grandchildren Billy Tittsworth and Lola Tittsworth; special buddy, Dakota; three brothers, Ted (Lois) Rigsby of McMinnville, Earl (Eva) Rigsby of Campaign and Fred (Jewel) Rigsby of Rock Island; sister-in-law, Juanita (Floyd) Mitchell of McMinnville, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with Ricky Burkes and Buddy Reed to officiate.
