Morrison resident and Grundy County native Bobby Loyce Glenn, 66, was born Sept. 6, 1954 and died Feb. 6 at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital following an extended illness.
A nurseryman with Harold B. Hillis Nursery, he was the son of the late Charlie Odell and Myrtle Henrietta Myers Glenn. He was married to Treva Ann Taylor Glenn on May 14, 1973. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Charles Ray Glenn, sister Patsy Charlene Glenn, half-brother Marvin Scott, brothers-in-law Glenn Taylor and Sam Parson and nephew Jason Ray Glenn.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Glenn is survived by daughter Addison Nicole Bates, sisters Betty Taylor and Sharon (Harold) Bates, sisters-in-law Linda Glenn, Pamela Sue (Chuck), Aline Parson and Pauline (Roger) Ware, brothers-in-law Roy (Barbara) Taylor and Ronnie (Teresa) Taylor, 11 nephews, five nieces, 10 great-nephews and 14 great-nieces.
Graveside service and interment was 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County with Jeff Vandagriff officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
