Bobby Jesus Vazques, 25, of McMinnville passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 24, at his home.

Mr. Vazques was born March 3, 1992 in Orlando, Fla. He was the son of Rikki Rochelle (Corbitt) Albert and Frank David Vazques III. He served in the Navy, and was a part of Operation Enduring Freedom in the 2nd Battallion 6th Marine Regiment Echo Company 2nd Squad. He was employed as an EMT. Bobby was a member of the Purple Heart Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, Operation Freedom Dogs, and the American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Shellie (Grissom) Vazques; son Tucker Vazques; daughter Aireal Vazques; siblings David Vazques, Bryce Albert, Samantha Albert, and Jered Grissom; nieces and nephews, Brooklyn Grissom, Jena Grissom, Ryker Grissom, Madilyn Grissom; and many aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral service is Friday, March 2 at 7 p.m. at Layne Funeral Home in Spencer with Benny Benjamin officiating. Visitation is Thursday, March 1 from 4 to 9 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.laynefuneralhome.com.
