Blanche Barbara Striegel, 99, of McMinnville died Wednesday, Sept. 5 at her residence. She was born June 26, 1913, in Little Falls, Minn., and was a homemaker, and a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Striegel was preceded in death by her parents Aloysius and Frances Zientak Blazeski; husband, Ted Striegel; brother Zack Blazeski, twin sister Celia Oubre; and sisters, Fran Mallak and Tillie Thompson.Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Wilson of McMinnville; and her fiancé, Fred Evans; daughter, Loretta Raymer of Wisconsin; half-sisters, Sally Hommer and Kathy Nelson, both of LaCrosse, Wis., half-brother, Louis Blazjewski of Arizona; grandchildren, Roxanne (Gary) Harder of Wisconsin, Chris Raymer of Wisconsin, Bernadette (Dwayne) Doud of Morrison, Shane (Karen) Wilson of McMinnville; and great-grandchildren, Shaun Raymer and Kayla Dodds, both of Wisconsin, Jordan (Elizabeth) Powers, Lydia Wilson, Chloe Wilson, and Zeb Wilson, all of McMinnville.Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church.
