McMinnville resident Billy J. Dixon, 81, died Wednesday, Oct. 16 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville after an extended illness.He was born in McMinnville on Jan. 1, 1932, a son of the late Lillie V. Hodges and James W. Dixon. He retired from the Chrysler Corporation where he worked for 33 years and attended the Church of Christ. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in the Korean War.
