McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native Bill Evins Hendrixson, 96, died June 9 in McMinnville following an extended illness.The retired owner of Hendrixson Trucking Inc., Hendrixson Hatcheries and a past member of the TN Aeronautics Commission under Gov. Lamar Alexander, and a member of First Baptist Church of Smithville, he was the son of the late Roscoe N. and Elsie Evins Hendrixson.He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Josephine Davis Hendrixson of McMinnville; and brothers, Sellars and Tolbert Hendrixson of Smithville.He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Rosalyn and Earl Partin of McMinnville, Lizanne and Jim Hunter of Louisville, Ky.; and grandchildren, Ellen Hunter of Menlo Park, Calif., Will Partin of Winston-Salem, N.C., Emily Partin of Nashville and Samuel Hunter of Louisville.Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of McMinnville.
