McMinnville resident and Warren County native Betty Sue Walker Moore, 75, died May 2 at her home after an extended illness.The daughter of the late Austin and Nellie Ray Walker, she worked in the home health industry as an elderly sitter and was a member of the Church of God. Mrs. Walker was a member of the Eastern Star (Rainbow Girl).In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Walter Preston Moore Jr., son Walter Shannon Moore, and brother Wilburn Walker.She is survived by son Michael Moore of McMinnville; daughter Candy Moore Hale of McMinnville; seven grandchildren, Krista Moore, Lauren Moore, Candace Moore, Preston Moore, Brittany Hale (Travis) Bates, Bethany Hale and Ashley (Justin) Green, all of McMinnville; four great-grandchildren, Jena Grissom, Bentley Bates, Breelee Bates and Jusley Green; sister Wilma Ruth Walker Crowley of Detroit, Mich; several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in High’s Chapel with Jeff Page officiating. Burial will follow at New Union Cemetery.
