Betty Sue Parker, 78, of McMinnville died Wednesday, May 17 at Hendersonville Medical Center.
She was born May 4, 1939, in Summitville, was a retired seamstress and a Pentecostal. Ms. Parker was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Emma Hillis Crouch, sisters Janie Freeze and Annie Rains, and brothers Herman, Edward, Willie, and Basil Crouch.
Survivors include former husband Ben Parker, daughter Pam (Tracey) Baggett, son Danny Bird, stepson John (Cheryl) Parker, brothers Paul Crouch and Bobby Crouch, grandchildren Michael Keller and fiancée Courtney Canova, Myranda Baggett, Courtney Bird, step-grandchildren, Nina Parker and Deann Wade, great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Keller, Joshua Keller, and step great-grandchildren, Nicki Lynn Parker and RyNina Malone.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 21, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Jason Nunley will officiate. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee County. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again Sunday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
