Betty Scharlotte Slone, 70, of Tullahoma, died unexpectedly Friday, July 1.
She was born Oct. 30, 1940 in Tullahoma to the late Hubert Murrell Osborne and Della Mae Tuck Vest. She was a seamstress at Don Ray Casuals of Tullahoma, and was baptized at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Tullahoma.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Denny Dean Slone; two sons, Jerry Slone (Patricia), and Danny Slone, both of Tullahoma; three daughters, Scarlotte (Michael), and Judy Slone, both of Tullahoma, and Kelly Brown (Randy) of Manchester; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five sisters, Sharon Ferrell, Brenda Robinson (Chuck), Debbie McCormick (Jimmy), and Lisa Hill (Luke) all of Rock Island, and Jackie Hosse of McMinnville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma.
