McMinnville resident and Watertown native Betty Jean Campbell Sweeton, 74, was born Aug. 5, 1939 and died July 21 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of Foodtown Plus and member of New Beginnings Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Orville Campbell and Virginia Lee Campbell. She was married July 7, 1982 to Tommy D. Sweeton, who preceded her in death June 12, 1994.
