Miss Bernita (Geri) Geraldine Akers, 87, of McMinnville, died Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at her residence. She was born Feb. 02, 1936, in McMinnville, was a retired bookkeeper and was preceded in death by parents, Lorenza Woodrow and Mary Tanner Akers; sister, Brenda Gail Akers; sister-in-law, Patsy Akers and brothers-in-law, Raymond Sain and Jesse R. Crumbley.
