Bernice Ann Fresso, 86, died Friday, Jan. 15, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital. She was a native of Chicago, Ill., and raised in Cannon County. Survivors include her six children, Elaine (Joe) O’Connell of Cedar Lake, Ind., Brenda (Brian) Lane of Chattanooga, Richard Thomas, Gregory Thomas, and Sheila Thomas, all of McMinnville, and James (Deborah) Fresso of Murfreesboro; sister, Dorothy Chlopek of Buford, Ga.; and nine grandchildren, Denene (Paul) Reppa, John (Linda) O’Connell, Luke (Lisa) O’Connell, Ara Lane, Matthew Lane, Sarah (Ronnie) Roark, Shannon (Jason) Ours, Heather (Jason) Morris, and James Anthony Fresso.
