McMinnville resident and Gretna, La., native Barbara Ann Bivalacqua, 57, died March 21 after an extended illness.A retired home health nurse at Generations of Morrison, she was a member of the Catholic church and the daughter of the late Willie Harry and Onelie Elizabeth Lirett Melacon.She is survived by daughters Stacy Orcutt of McMinnville and Tony Bivalacqua of Louisiana, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, brother Jeffery Melacon of Louisiana, sisters Cookie Kersey and Linda Lind, both of Louisiana, and several nieces and nephews.Ms. Bivalacqua was cremated.
