McMinnville resident and Detroit, Mich., native Angela Johnson, 58, died July 31 at her home after an extended illness.A U.S. Postal clerk for 25 years and a member of the Catholic Church, she was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Balbina Novak.She is survived by her husband, Kenneth J. Johnson; daughters, Tina M. and husband Robert Cole of McMinnville, Christine Johnson of Warren, Mich., Jennifer M. and Merriman Ringo of South Carolina; sons, Larry B. Jones of Detroit, Joseph M. and Glenda Johnson of Kanas, Mo.; brothers, Stanley and wife Lilly Novak, John Novak and Ted Novak, both of Taylor, Mich. and Walter Novak of Dearborn, Mich.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Dewayne Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.Gardens of Memory Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
