Mr. Andrew Charles Link, 87, of McMinnville, TN, died Friday, April 1, at his residence. He was born December 28, 1923 in Herman, Arkansas, was a retired truck driver, and a World War II U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Link was preceded in death by his parents Robert Link and Myrtle O’Bryant, his wife Emma Lou Link, son Donnie Link, brothers Leo H. Link, & Cecil Link and a sister Peggy June Link. Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law Pat and Kenneth Mullican, Bettye and Eddie Knowles all of McMinnville TN, Peggy and Charlie Anderson of Murfreesboro TN, & Teresa and Dan McInnis of Viola, TN, sons & daughters-in law Jerry and Janey Link of Apache Junction, AZ, Andy and Debi Link of McMinnville, TN, and Kenny and Pam Link of Sparta, TN, brother James and Bee Link of Gainesville, MO, sisters Jewell Knight of Hollister, MO, and Martha Mitchell of Mountain Home, AR, sister-in-law Cil Link of East Saint Louis, MO, and special friend Jean Smith. Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family members, and friends also survive. Funeral service is 2 P.M. Sunday, April 3, 2011 at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Rex Boles will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory. Military grave rites will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and V.F.W. Post 5064. The Link Family will receive friends Saturday from 3 P.M. until 9 P.M. and again on Sunday from 11 A.M. until 2 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
