Amos Vaughn, 78, a McMinnville resident and Rienzi, Miss., native was born June 6, 1938 and died March 26 at his residence following an extended illness. He was a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard, a truck driver for Crete Transportation, a loyal member of Rolling Acres Brethren in Christ Church for 26 years, and the son of the late Hubert & Miriam Ester Searcy Vaughn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Vaughn.He was married Dec. 15, 1960 to Ernestine Vaughn of McMinnville.
