McMinnville resident and Warren County native Amos Lynn Deckard, 41, was born Feb. 21, 1970 and died July 14 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.A nursery worker and member of New Hope Full Gospel Church, he was the son of Willie Dean Reed Deckard of McMinnville and the late J.C. Deckard. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Zack Deckard of Morrison; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanine and Doug Fults of Rock Island, nephews Jason and Amanda Deckard of Rock Island, and John and Tara Deckard of McMinnville.Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. today in High’s Chapel with Ricky Minton officiating. Burial will follow at Brick House Cemetery.
