McMinnville resident and Los Angeles, Calif., native Alden Leroy Jones Jr., 86, was born Dec. 20, 1931 and died March 13 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. A retired mechanic at Performance Auto, a United States Navy veteran, and a member of the Episcopal Church, he was the son of the late Alden Leroy and Nora Staff Jones. He was married on July 21, 1963 to Jane Johnston Jones of McMinnville.
