Mrs. Ada Mai Church, 85, of McMinnville, died Thursday, July 14, at her residence. She was born Nov. 25, 1930, in Warren County, was a retired bookkeeper with Burroughs-Ross-Colville (BRC) and a member of the Congregational Methodist Church. Mrs. Church was preceded in death by parents Leonard and Alma McGee Betchel, her husband Clarence Edward Church, brother Tommy Betchel, stepdaughter Mary Louise Throneberry, and stepson Bill Pendergraph.Survivors include her children David Pendergraph and Donna (Johnny) Anderson, both of McMinnville, stepdaughter Inez Willis of Cullowhee, N.C.; grandchildren Dana McGowan, Davy (Stephanie) Pendergraph, Daniel Pendergraph, and Jarah Anderson, all of McMinnville, and Jonathan (Brooke) Anderson of Smithville; great-grandchildren Dakota McGowan, Abbie (Jacob) Argo, and Lake Pendergraph, all of McMinnville, sister Anna Rhea Basham of McMinnville, and special caregiver Debbie Lawson.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
